We had an amazing day yesterday as we gathered for a morning devotion and then left to serve at a downtown soup kitchen. We left the church around 9 a.m. and then spent the next three hours doing prep work as we prepared for up to 500 of Anchorage's homeless and working poor. Everyone had such a sweet, courteous spirit and there was just a great time of fellowship with the staff, volunteers and those who were being fed.
There were some wonderful, spiritual conversations that took place and we are trusting the Lord will use our feeble efforts to bring great glory to Himself. Several indicated their interest in attending worship services at True North Churc
h this coming Sunday. Please pray they will follow-through on these commitments. Also, please continue to pray for our team's health (everyone is well), that our attitudes and behavior will reflect Christ love, and Pastor Williams as he strives to connect with this city.
