UGANDA Updates (Days 4 - 6)

Days 4 & 5 - the team has been engaged with the students of Morningstar Christian School each of the past two days and the children have been most excited to have us doing a variety of activities with them, including Bible Club.  Gail did a wonderful job of presenting the Bible story from creation to resurrection using visuals and the children were very attentative as they have been throughout our visit.

Day 6 - we made up invitations to the outreach service scheduled for Thursday and distributed many during the day.  Lots of those we met indicated they would join us so we are quite excited about this opportunity to reach the community of Mutongo for Christ!

Each day has seen our team members involved with the students of the school and both students and teachers have seemed to welcome the break from the norm.  Mike led an evening Bible study for adults this evening and they seemed to really enjoy the lesson on how to fight off satan's attempts to tempt us.

The team continues to be healthy and we appreciate your prayers so much!  Please pray for the upcoming outreach service that many will come to know The Lord.

Uganda Updates

The Team arrived in Entebbe, Uganda - late on February 23.
February 23rd - arrived late in the evening and got into our lodging at about midnight.  We were tired from the long trip but excited about what God had in store for the coming week.

February 24th - Had a wonderful worship service in the morning with lots of singing an dancing.  It was great to be in the House of the Lord and worship with brothers and sisters who were enthusiastic about their praise to the King!  There were many in attendance and one woman came forward at the end of the sermon to commit to Christ.  We are so thankful for this new sister in Christ.
February 25th - This was our first day with the children at Morning Star Christian School and we have been so blessed to have joined them in Bible study, games, and meals.  There were a number of students who prayed to receive Christ during the Bible study time.

Please pray for these students and their teachers as some are not saved and some children even come from a Muslim home.  Pray as we do door-to-door evangelism tomorrow and also pass out invitations to the evangelistic service scheduled for the 1st.

Our team is healthy and in great spirits as we enjoy wonderful new relationships and experience the love that eminates from the children and staff of the school.

More to follow soon, I hope.
